Da Vinci Chianti 2005
Ruby red and clear in colour. The dominant bouquet is of cherry and fresh red fruits mingled by perrery notes. On the palate the wine is well balanced, ripe and lively with soft and round tannins lingering throught the finish. Wine Spectator A pleasant red, with blackberry and a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied, with tight, young tannins, lots of fresh fruit and a medium finish. Best after 2006. Score: 86. October 31, 2006. |
